Catherine completed her diploma of Massage Therapy in 2010 from the Ontario College Of Health and Technology. Prior to that she completed a Kinesiology Degree and a Degree of Health Science. Her passion for athletics and science led her to a Certification as an Athletic Therapist and a Registered Kinesiologist, which led her to work with competitive and professional athletes and teams. She also has experience working with Neuro based clientele. Catherine is focused on treating patients that have survived traumatic injuries, and are working to adapt to changing lifestyles and mobility needs. Brayden is a passionate physiotherapist with a strong background in sports and rehabilitation. Growing up in Peterborough, he was actively involved in a variety of sports, including soccer, hockey, and baseball which sparked his deep interest in helping athletes recover and return to sport. Brayden holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from Brock University (2018) and a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick, Ireland (2020).
With a special interest in sport-specific rehabilitation, Brayden is committed to guiding athletes of all levels back to peak performance. He is currently advancing his skills with additional training in manual therapy, acupuncture, and sport-specific treatments, with a special interest in golf. Jay grew up in Bowmanville, ON and was very active in sports throughout his
childhood and into adulthood. This interest led him to pursue an honour’s Bachelor’s
degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University. He continued his post-secondary
education at the University of Toronto where he obtained a Master’s degree in
Physiotherapy in 2010. Upon graduation, Jay lived and worked in Ottawa in a variety of
orthopaedic settings with a strong focus on manual therapy and a hands-on
approach. These opportunities allowed him to pursue his passion for sport, gaining
experience in working with athletes of all levels, from the common recreational to
professional athlete. Jay and his family moved to Peterborough in 2018, after meeting
with Connor and Adam and realizing their shared passion for Physiotherapy, sports
and active living. Jay has taken extensive coursework in acupuncture, functional dry
needling, functional movement screening, and manual therapy. He completed his
Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2017 and is a Fellow

Connor was born and raised in Peterborough and graduated with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2011, after completing his bachelor’s in Kinesiology at McMaster in 2009. In 2014, he teamed up with Adam Summers to open Pulse Physio & Performance - Chemong. They added Jay Martin to the partnership group in 2022 and opened their second location in Peterborough at Pulse Physio & Performance - Lansdowne. Connor enjoys running regular group mentorship sessions with his colleagues, helping to ensure that everyone who comes to Pulse receives the same, high standard of quality care. Fernando has over 15 years of broad expertise in coaching and programming for general fitness, weightlifting, CrossFit, and high-performance sports preparation. Fernando’s fitness career began in 2009 when he became a certified personal trainer. In 2013, he discovered CrossFit and became a certified CrossFit Coach later that year. His passion for the sport grew quickly, and in 2014, he opened his own CrossFit affiliate, where he built a strong community and coached athletes to reach their highest potential. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, as well as a variety of CrossFit certifications, including CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Weightlifting, and CrossFit Gymnastics. Adam was born and raised in Scarborough, ON and grew up spending his summers at his family cottage in Coe Hill. He graduated from Western University in 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Health Science. He continued his education at Western to complete a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy in 2007. After graduating, Adam relocated to Peterborough, working as an orthopaedic physiotherapist in a local clinic for seven years, before teaming up with Connor to open Pulse Physiotherapy in 2014. He works with the Junior A Peterborough Lakers as a team physiotherapist and currently volunteers as a trainer for Peterborough Minor Hockey. While working, he continued his education in the areas of acupuncture, soft tissue release and manual therapy. She has advanced training and experience in acupuncture, dry needling, persistent pain, taping techniques, pelvic health related concerns (incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy, peri/post menopause, pessary fittings), and manual therapy.
